HAUNTED

What does it mean to be haunted?

The most literal answer is there’s a ghost or spirit of some variety in your house, or your school or workplace, or attached to you, and it’s not going to leave you alone until you do something about it. Do you need an exorcist? The Ghostbusters? A friendly chat with the ghost to convince them to share the bathroom politely?

But hauntings can be a little more metaphorical. Maybe the “ghost” following you around is a memory – a traumatic experience, a dead friend or loved one, or something similar. How do your characters deal with being haunted by memories?

Write a story about being haunted.
